Since it began operating in 1986, Outlook Environmental has removed tens-of-thousands of tonnes of material from the waste stream.
More than 85 disadvantaged workers are employed or undergoing training at Outlook Environmental sites, in retail, distribution and warehousing, waste management and work preparation.
Outlook Environmental is part of Outlook (Vic) Inc, a not-for-profit community-based social enterprise dedicated to creating opportunities for disadvantaged people through employment, training and social integration.
Surplus revenue from the work of Outlook Environmental is fed back into the umbrella organisation to fund programmes and services for the disadvantaged and the community

Outlook’s achievement in receiving the Support Workers’ Team Award recognises industry leadership in providing award wages, skill development and training and the highest quality employment conditions for its supported employees.
Outlook’s partnership with SITA Environmental Solutions at Hampton Park is the sole Victorian winner of this Australian Government award.
